DAY 01 –ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will process your Visa before you meet our Multilingual safari Manager. He will welcome you to Tanzania with a wonderful smile as you head out the arrival area. You can also change your money at the airport before you depart to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Masailand Safari Lodge
DAY 02 –NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast you drive to Ngorongoro and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a day filled with wonder. The staggering crater walls rise up around you and on the floor of the crater you can find everything from grazing wildebeest to racing big cats, black rhinos bursting through the trees and exotic birds taking flight. You can rest in the shade and enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the swaying plains, the deep dark forests and the emerald shimmer of this rich and dramatic landscape. After a day of adventure you drive to Serengeti for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Safari Lodge
DAY 03 –SERENGETI GAME DRIVE
After breakfast, you don’t want to miss the beautiful essence of Serengeti Plains, your driver guide will take you to the heart of Serengeti, meeting the group of animals such as Zebra, wildebeest or the wild cat and many other will carter your thirst. Later on enjoy your picnic lunch at Seronera visitors’ center and get more attached to the wilderness. After a day filled with wonder you will love to experience the Maasai dance (cultural dance) near the camp fire after dinner. Overnight at Mapito Tented Camp
DAY 04 –SERENGETI FULL DAY GAME DRIVE
Another full day Serengeti game drive will reveal the hidden flora & fauna of the endless plains in this famous national park in Africa. Most areas you will visit depend upon where the migrating herds are. Serengeti Predators usually follow closely behind the trekking animals and these include lions, leopards (in the acacia trees) and cheetahs. As the migration is completely dependent on the yearly rainfalls, the location of the herds may vary from year to year but your guide will know where to locate the Serengeti Animals. DAY 05 –FLY TO ZANZIBAR
Before the sun rises you have the chance to take one last expedition through the Serengeti Safari and see the nocturnal Serengeti animals return from a night hunt. You can enjoy your beautiful breakfast at the hippo pool picnic site. The hippo pool is a wonderful experience where you will watch these magnificent and often hilarious creatures in their natural habitat, frolicking and fighting in the pools, and dwarfing the occasional crocodile on the shore. After then drive to Seronera Air strip for your flight to Zanzibar.
Prior to landing, you will notice that the crystal clear waters of the Zanzibar beaches truly exist. Our safari manager will welcome you from the airport and transfer you to ZaVa Nungwi for dinner and overnight
DAY 06 & 07–RELAX YOU ARE IN ZANZIBAR
Today enjoy your breakfast at the hotel restaurant just by the beach. This day is set aside for relaxation as you enjoy the beautiful beach. Our perfect choice on a Vast stretches of white sand, blanketed by colorful shells and met by azure blue waters. Dinner and overnight at ZaVa Nungwi
DAY 08–JOZANI FOREST AND SPICE FARM
After breakfast our tour starts by visiting the natural forest where the smaller trees and bushes make several sub-canopies under the highest canopy. You will get to see the Mama Mtondoo, an intriguing mahogany tree that is believed to be over 200 years old. You could also catch a glimpse of the massive raffia fern tree that boasts the distinction of having the largest leaves in the world. The forest trails also lead to sightings of other wildlife, such as Sykes monkey, shrew, galago, chameleon, and the shy Ader’s duiker or Suni antelope.
Later depart for your Spice tour and enjoy your lunch in a local village restaurant.
A unique opportunity to breathe in Zanzibar’s scents and spices on a 4 hour walking excursion to see some of the world’s most exotic spices. Get to know what made Zanzibar the world’s biggest exporter of cloves and earned the nickname, the spice island. Today, Zanzibar is still renowned for its clove, nutmeg, cardamom, turmeric, cinnamon, chili, and black pepper.
Another day to relax at this lovely hotel set just few steps away from the beach attached with its restaurant offering free Wi-Fi. Relaxation as you enjoy the beautiful beach of Nungwi. Nungwi is a beach holiday destination parked with plenty of water sports, restaurants, and nightlife.
DAY 10–MNEMBA ISLAND
At 8:30 after breakfast depart for a trip of a lifetime. A day trip to Mnemba Island is wonderful as you will swim with hundreds of dolphin. This experience will give you chance to unveil a special natural feeling of the Indian ocean. After lunch you will return to the hotel.
DAY 11–PRISON ISLAND & STON TOWN TOUR
After breakfast, depart to a small, once private island drifting in the deep blue waters of the Indian Ocean, Prison Island has a long and intriguing history. Arrive by boat and discover this small but characterful spot, home to a group of endangered Aldabra giant tortoises–some of whom have taken up residence in the old abandoned prison. A restaurant on the island provides welcome refreshment.
Later in the afternoon return to Stone town and enjoy lunch at the nearest restaurant.
proceed with amazing walking tour of captivating stone town where a knowledgeable guide will take you via the narrow streets of the nineteen century old town, much of which remains unchanged to this day. Visit the highlights of this historical town including the House of Wonders; a palace constructed for the second Sultan of Zanzibar, Sultan Palace, Arab Old Fort, Anglican Cathedral and the amazingly moving Slave Market.
Later before you return to the hotel, you can have a chance to purchase some of the precious gemstones like Tanzanite and other gifts
Sadly, today is your last day in Zanzibar. Depending on your flight time our driver will be ready to take you to the airport.
