To support these efforts, during this uncertain time, we have amended our standard terms and conditions to provide our clients with additional certainty around their future travel, allowing added benefit, should clients be directly impacted by Corona Virus.

New bookings made between 13 May 2020 and 31 December 2020, with a travel date anytime from March 2021 onwards; may cancel the complete Safari Lift Africa itinerary (activities, hotels and tours) that is booked through us, free of charge up to 60 days before your departure and get 100% of your deposit back. This guarantee and amendment is only applicable to an inability to travel due to possible complications associated with Covid-19, such as travel bans and quarantine requirements that may still be in place, preventing travel from taking place.

Given the uncertain nature of air travel at present, any flights booked through Safari Lift Africa will be quoted with flexible fares and will be inclusive of insurance, be they international, regional or domestic. While we recognise that cheaper flight options will be available, we recommend that, whether booking your flights direct or through your Safari Lift Africa Travel Expert, you choose flexible fares from the outset. In doing so you will not only mitigate the risk associated with flights but will be provided greater flexibility should you wish to postpone or change your travel dates at any time.

New Bookings  – Maximising Flexibility
In order to give our guests increased comfort, we will stay flexible with our new rebooking service until 60 days prior to your intended travel date. For new bookings with a departure date starting in March 2021, made between 13 May 2020 and 31 December 2020, you may rebook your Safari Lift Aftrica itinerary (activities, hotels, tours) free of charge up to 60 days before your departure (subject to availability). Rebooking is only allowed once and at least 60 days before your planned travel date. Any additional costs incurred due to changes or additions to your itinerary and upgrades, such as additional costs for changing seasons or upgrades to your accommodation, will still apply.
