08 DAYS-SAFARI & BEACH HOLIDAY
DAY 01-ARRIVAL
You will be met at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro by our representative. We will take you to the Zawadi House. This charming country home is situated in the near the city of Arusha inside a lush green surrounding. Our safari manager will come to meet you and to provide you with a safari briefing. A wonderful home-cooked dinner will be served on the spot – either in the dining room or the terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens.

NB –if you arrive into another airport than Kilimanjaro we’ll arrange a connection flight to Arusha either on arrival or the following day (at extra cost). From Nairobi also road transfers in private or shared vehicles possible.
DAY 02-LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you’ll drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for your first game drive. This beautiful park with its lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees, takes its name from the Masai word for “euphorbia tirucalli”, a bush which is used to make a thorny hedge to protect their cattle. Elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and a variety of antelope inhabit the park as well as a variety of monkeys and a large population of hippos. If you are lucky you may see the Manyara lions, well known for their tree climbing habits, lazily resting on the branches of an “Acacia tortilis” tree. The birdlife is also abundant, with flamingoes, pelicans, hornbills and plenty of forest species.
Driving time without game viewing approx 2,5 hours.

DAY 03-NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast you drive to Ngorongoro conservation Area then descend into the
Magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a day filled with wonder. The staggering crater walls rise up around you and on the floor of the crater you can find everything from grazing wildebeest to racing big cats, black rhinos bursting through the trees and exotic birds taking flight. You can rest in the shade and enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the swaying plains, the deep dark forests and the emerald shimmer of this rich and dramatic landscape. DAY 04-ZANZIBAR
After leisurely breakfast overlooking the famous Crater your guide will take you back to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Transfer to the Ocean Paradise Resort. All meals included.
Alternative accommodations on request e.g. at a private villa like Milele Villa or similar.
DAY 05 -DAY 07:BEACH EXTENSION
Relax and enjoy the beaches of Zanzibar. Breakfast and dinner included
Tour Stonetown & Spice Tour
On one day you can opt a guided tour. First you visit the Spice Plantations at Kidichi for the famous Spice Tour. We have developed a special Spice Tour with in depth information not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description about their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking. After the tour we invite for an opulent lunch at the ‘Spice Restaurant’, where you can taste the spices and fruits.
In the afternoon we will show you Stone Town on our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the Anglican Church and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques! Transfer back to your beach hotel
DAY 08-DEPARTURE
Departure transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your departure. Breakfast included.
